Doubt about routine.

Hi.
I borrowed this book from a friend of mine and I got a doubt in the stage 1 routine. At this routine hips and lower abs are done within the same workout. And in the abdominal training chapter Ian sugest not to train lower abs and lower body at the same session. :?

Why this principle not aplies at the stage 1 routine A?

hector - training principles are guidelines only. there is a place and time for everything. rather than thinking right and wrong, ask yourself what effect doing one or the other has, and if this is an effect that you are after. did you do the routine you talk about? what are your results with it?
